GATLINBURG, TN
Gatlinburg is one of the most-used gateways into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This, or its neighboring city of Pigeon Forge, will be our base of operations for the majority of our tours. These two cities are a vacationers paradise. Unlike many resort towns, these are filled with friendly, down-home folks happy to cater to visitors and who do their best to make everyone feel at home. We call it "Southern hospitality".
Gatlinburg is a beautiful little town surrounded by mountains. There is something for everyone here, and a wide variety of things to see and do. The town is home to museums, theaters, an aquarium voted #1 in the United States, excellent restaurants featuring down-home cooking, all kinds of specialty shops, an arts-and-crafts community, and some great night-time party spots. To me there is nothing better than relaxing after a full-day of riding, or doing any of the area activities, than to kick back in a mountain cabin with a hot tub on the back deck. Most cabins also have Jacuzzi bath tubs, fireplaces, stereo, cable TV and many have pool tables and/or air hockey tables. We even have a couple of licensed massage therapists on call who will come to the cabin.
Gatlinburg has long been one of my favorite towns. I think after your visit you will feel the same way.
